1. I'm 26. Yeeeikes. The whole transition into my "mid-twenties" is a thing! I'm definitely not where I thought I would be ten years ago. Or five years ago. Not even three years ago. Actress, writer, some kind of musician (though I don't play an instrument) were all on my list. I know in the greater scheme of things I feel I am exactly where I need to be, But I will never get used to the thought of being in my mid-twenties. Ugh.
2. I'm living at home. There's a word for Millennials that are still living or return home to live with their parents...the word escapes me. No, it's not "sad," "loser," or "parasite." Though being a quarter of a century old and continuing to live at home would make the previous terms at least feel true, I am not alone as far as staying in the nest. According to a study done by the Pew Research Center for the first time since the 1880's young adults were a little more likely to live at home that with a spouse or romantic partner. I however fall into the demographic with the opposite of my sex, as this trend is rising among young men. I'm feeling you, bro!
3. I am employed.
I work for a synagogue. I am not Jewish. Things about it will show up in future lists. Stay tuned!
4. Jesus is my homeboy--I have a poster that says so!
In all seriousness, my faith has brought me through A LOT and also will show up in future lists. Though my beliefs are not necessarily conventional, they're pretty darn biblical. My understanding of God is a huge part of my life and my outlook.
5. I've never dated.
If nothing works out by the time I'm 30, I'm signing up for Christian Mingle! #NerdyThirty #FindGodsMatchIn5Years6. I get the privilege of helping raise 2 magnificent kids.
There's soooo many great and not so great things about being part of a village that's bringing up one much less TWO keiki. But at the end of the day it's always worth it.
7. Born and raised in HI.
Another of my life's privileges. I love where I live, but like anywhere else it has it's troubles.

| Spongebob knows how to adult! |
I can count on my hand the number of trips I've taken to the mainland. When I do get to travel, I'm loving every second of it. I can't wait to go somewhere else!
9. I'm having trouble being a grown up.
Oh so much. So so so much. Adulting, man. It's difficult.
10. I'm writing a blog about my life in lists!
This whole project may be in direct correlation with #1. I'm excited to share what I know/seen/have heard!
